Philosophy
Quality work at small and mid-market manufacturers is held together by spreadsheets, email threads, and tribal knowledge. It works — until a customer audit, a surveillance visit, or a personnel change exposes how fragile the picture really was. Replacing the full quality-management system is too big a bet for most teams. Replacing one workflow at a time is not.
We pick one workflow, build the focused tool that replaces what currently lives in spreadsheets and email threads with something that holds up to a real audit, and only then look at the next.
Principles
- Parity before performance. A faster process that silently changes the records is not a modernization win — it’s an audit finding waiting to surface.
- Built alongside the people who own the work. Every workflow we target starts with interviews of the quality, plant, ops, or continuous-improvement leader who currently owns it. No survey panels, no buying-committee abstractions.
- No claims we can’t support. No fabricated ROI, no industry-average percentages presented as your numbers, no fake customer logos. If we can’t back it up with your own inputs, we don’t say it.
- Customer data stays customer data.Encrypted, isolated, not used to train any model, not shared across customers. Deletion certificate on close.
- Narrow scope before broad claims. One workflow at a time. No platform-rollout proposals. No open-ended consulting engagements.
Where we are right now
Agentum Systems is in the early research stage for our first focused product, currently around ISO 9001 audit readiness for small non-clinical manufacturers. We’re interviewing 15 quality, plant, and operations leaders before building anything substantive — on the principle that the wrong thing built well is still the wrong thing.
